Ladies Philoptochos at st. Philothea feast in Toronto.
At St. Nicholas Cathedral Church in Toronto, our Ladies Philoptochos gathered to honor their Patron Saint, Philothea the Holy Martyr of Athens. In the church's ornate ambiance, they paid homage to her life of piety and charity through prayers and reflections. This sacred gathering highlighted the enduring spirit of faith and sisterhood within the Greek Orthodox tradition. The liturgy, celebrated by Archbishop Sotirios of Canada, alongside Bishop Athenagoras of Patara and priests from Toronto and the GTA, infused the event with solemnity and reverence. After the liturgy, all the congregation enjoyed a hearty meal at the Metropolitan Center, strengthening community bonds while embracing the values exemplified by Saint Philothea.

Our Mission
The mission of the Ladies Philoptochos (Holy Trinity) is to assist needy people, families and non-profit organizations, and to contribute towards the needs of our Church and Community.
What we do
We aid the poor, the destitute, the victims of disasters, to undertake the burial of impoverished persons and to offer assistance to anyone who may need the help of our Church. We also donate to many philanthropic organizations, and missions.
Community Engagement
We promote the charitable, benevolent, and philanthropic purposes of the church through presentations, lectures by having an annual Spring Tea, and having a Wine and Cheese in the end of September. We also donate for the needs of our Church and Community.
